My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: God is the source of all life, purity and power. So His Word is a direct reflection of WHO GOD IS AND HOW HE FUNCTIONS. The Word is the very means through which God reveals Himself, and His ways to His children. The Word tells us in great details how the world we’re living in came into being by the Word that came out of His mouth (Jesus). The Word covers the visible world, and eternity. So we’re connected to God on the basis of THE TRUTH FOUND IN HIS WORD. His Word is a very powerful weapon “…take the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is THE WORD OF GOD…” (Eph. 6:17). “The words of the LORD ARE PURE (containing nothing that does not properly belong) WORDS, O LORD, YOU SHALL PRESERVE THEM FOREVER.” (Psa. 12:6-7) “Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS WILL NEVER PASS AWAY.” (Matt. 24:35) “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matt. 4:4) “ALL SCRIPTURE IS BREATHED OUT BY GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be COMPLETE, EQUIPPED for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17) These are just a few important aspects concerning the Word but THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE is revealed to us by John, “..I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD.” (Rev. 19:11-13) When we do this: “Your word I have hidden in my heart…” (Psa. 119:11) We are fortifying ourselves with life, purity and power!!!
WHEN WE SPEAK THE WORD, IT IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL BECAUSE IT’S JESUS…
