My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to Him those He wanted, and they came to Him. He appointed twelve that they might be with Him and that HE MIGHT SEND THEM OUT TO PREACH AND TO HAVE AUTHORITY TO DRIVE OUT DEMONS…Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that He and his disciples were not even able to eat. When His family heard about this, THEY WENT TO TAKE CHARGE OF HIM, for they said, “HE IS OUT OF HIS MIND.” (Mark 3:13-15, 20-21)
Jesus was doing MANY AWESOME MIRACLES, several people were healed and delivered from demon possession then testifying to everyone about it. So, now such a large crowd had gathered at the house Jesus was visiting that neither He nor His disciples had been able to eat. No one had ever experienced anything like this before. Our Lord was being mobbed by the crowd as celebrities are mobbed today. When Jesus family heard the news they came to take charge of Him thinking He was out of his mind, which is not something we should say about the Lord.
Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I HAVE GIVEN YOU AUTHORITY…TO OVERCOME ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY; nothing will harm you.” (Luke 10:18-19)
