“I will exalt you, LORD, for YOU LIFTED ME OUT OF THE DEPTHS AND DID NOT LET THE DEVIL GLOAT OVER ME. LORD my God, I CALLED TO YOU FOR HELP, AND YOU HEALED ME. YOU, LORD, BROUGHT ME UP FROM THE REALM OF THE DEAD; you spared me from going down to the pit. Sing the praises of the LORD, WILL, ONE OF HIS FAITHFUL SERVANTS; PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME. Sometimes WILL, as we both know, we can get “down in the dumps.” The devil has great pleasure in leading us into depression and tries to convince us that there is nothing we can do about it. We must remember the nickname the Lord gave to him, “…the devil…for there is no truth in him…for he is a liar and THE FATHER OF LIES.” (John 8:44) The Word of the Lord is our “sharp two-edged sword” it is alive will, God’s Word is living and it is active. When we proclaim (declare) the Word, SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN!!! When God said. “let there be light” IMMEDIATELY, there was light. We are created in the image and likeness of God and Jesus said to us, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. IF YOU BELIEVE, YOU WILL RECEIVE WHATEVER YOU ASK FOR IN PRAYER.” (Matt. 21:21-22)
