My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” The LORD said to him, “WHO GAVE HUMAN BEINGS THEIR MOUTHS? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? IS IT NOT I, THE LORD? NOW GO; I WILL HELP YOU SPEAK and will TEACH YOU WHAT TO SAY.” (Exodus 4:10-12)
At this point we can choose to trust, obey and go, or we can stay and continue to argue with God. “But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. PLEASE SEND SOMEONE ELSE.” Then THE LORD’S ANGER BURNED AGAINST MOSES and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron….I know he can speak well…You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do…” (Exo. 4:13-15) This is just another example of how the devil comes to do his stealing of our confidence and the killing of our faith but we must remember Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they MAY HAVE LIFE, AND HAVE IT 1ABUNDANTLY.” (John 10:10) 1Perissos: over and above, more than is necessary, superiority.
We see the loving Spirit of the Lord working, providing this abundant life, because even though He was angry with him He made a way for the request of Moses to be fulfilled.
WHEN THE LORD EXPECTS SOMETHING FROM US HE WILL EQUIP US WITH ALL WE NEED TO DO IT…
