My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, who sold him to travelers, came to Egypt to get food…“Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for GOD SENT ME BEFORE YOU TO PRESERVE LIFE. “For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. “GOD SENT ME BEFORE YOU TO PRESERVE FOR YOU A REMNANT IN THE EARTH, AND TO KEEP YOU ALIVE BY A GREAT DELIVERANCE.” (Gen. 45:5-7) Joseph had such favor with Pharaoh that he sent transportation home with Joseph’s brother’s to bring all his family back to live in Egypt, in the best land. The 13 years of trouble Joseph endured is what led him to be in charge of all the land of Egypt. “For God is WORKING IN YOU, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” (Phil. 2:13) In our trouble the Lord says, “I am about to do something new. It is beginning to happen even now. Don’t you see it coming? I AM GOING TO MAKE A WAY FOR YOU…” (Isa. 43:19)
