My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: In the synagogue of Nazareth (The hometown of Jesus), “…they scoffed, “He’s just the carpenter’s son, and we know Mary, His mother, and His brothers—James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas. All his sisters live right here among us. WHERE DID HE LEARN ALL THESE THINGS?” And they were deeply offended and REFUSED TO BELIEVE IN HIM. Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.” And so He did only A FEW MIRACLES there BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF.” (Matt. 13:55-58)
Look at the seriousness of unbelief, “they refused to believe in Him…” The town of Nazareth missed out on many great miracles because of their unbelief. Not much different than today, many of our local churches today are filled with unbelief concerning the marvelous miracle working power of Jesus. I don’t think the average church goer expects to see an outpouring of God’s miracle working power! The main reason is the MISSING POWER OF INTENSIVE INTERCESSORY PRAYER. Remember, our prayers are like incense poured into bowls of blessings, “They were holding GOLDEN BOWLS FULL OF INCENSE, WHICH STAND FOR THE PRAYERS OF GOD’S PEOPLE.” (Rev. 5:8) God then ADDS HIS GRACE AND POWER into these bowls and they get poured on God’s people.
“I pray that He will use His glorious riches to make you strong. May His Holy Spirit GIVE YOU HIS POWER DEEP DOWN INSIDE YOU.” (Eph. 3:16)
FaithLine, the bible says: “May His Holy Spirit GIVE YOU HIS POWER DEEP DOWN INSIDE YOU.”
