My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “The man gave names to all the animals…but for Adam there was NOT FOUND A HELPER 1SUITABLE FOR HIM. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man…then He took one of his ribs…and FASHIONED INTO A WOMAN…AND BROUGHT HER TO THE MAN. The man said, “This is now BONE OF MY BONES, And FLESH OF MY FLESH; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” (Gen. 2:20-24) 1‘êzer: Help given to someone who is suffering or in need: Was Adam suffering? Yes, because no one who would be suitable for Adam could be found. So, God made special provisions for the creation of Eve. Notice: God created things different in man and woman, so when they are joined together and become one flesh (Gen 2:24), This is a COMPLETE REPRESENTATION of who God is!
Something God did different in creating man was BREATHING THE BREATH OF LIFE in him so he would become a LIVING SOUL. Then, “By the seventh day GOD HAD FINISHED THE WORK HE HAD BEEN DOING…Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy…” (Gen. 2:2-3)
By the seventh day of the creation process, everything that exists was created. GOD WAS FINISHED AND VERY PLEASED WITH HIS CREATION. God created us to live and enjoy relationship with Him. Jesus said, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now REMAIN IN MY LOVE…I have told you this so that MY JOY MAY BE IN YOU AND THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE COMPLETE.” (John 15:9-11) The Lord in effect is saying, “Become intimate with me, allow my joy to be in you, and through our close relationship you will experience the true joy of living, for you will bear the fruit of my nature—(see Galatians 5:22-23). And in doing so…”
YOU WILL REFLECT MY PRESENCE AND GIVE ME GLORY!
