Then Jesus returned and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hourWatch and pray so that YOU WILL NOT FALL INTO TEMPTATION. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weakWhen he came back, he again found them sleeping…” (Matt. 26:40-43) Jesus was about to be taken to be severely beaten and crucified, was counting on His disciples prayers but they were sleeping on three occasions.

Do we need to wake up? Not too many people today are reading the Word or attending church. Praying is not a priority as it once was. The devil has lulled us to sleep in participating in miracles, in yielding to the Holy Spirit and most importantly in hearing the voice of the Lord. The Lord said it like this, I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I AM ABOUT TO SPIT YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH.(Rev. 3:15-16)

America is witnessing a troubling increase in deaths among its children and teens, according to the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The suicide rate for teen girls is the highest it’s been in 40 years.
