My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Concerning Jesus we have much to say, and IT IS HARD TO EXPLAIN, since you have become 1dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food…and are not accustomed to the word of righteousness…solid food is for the mature, who BECAUSE OF PRACTICE HAVE THEIR SENSES TRAINED TO DISCERN GOOD AND EVIL.” (Heb. 5:11-14) 1nōthros: slow to learn; sluggish.
Ok, so here’s the revelation of this portion of scripture. We can be of those who hear the word, even regularly, but never actually do it. Without putting into practice or “doing the word”, we will eventually become dull of understanding, which means “slow to learn”. The reason this happens is because of the nature of God’s Word, which is alive and powerful (Heb 4:12), if the devil “tricks” us into not becoming a doer of the Word, no matter how smart we may be, we’ll begin to lose the real meaning of the word and become dull to it. Since, as the writer of Hebrews says, the mature Christian practices doing the word and their spiritual senses become trained to really “know” what the Word means.
HELP US LORD, MOTIVATE US TO BE DOERS OF YOUR WORD…
Notice: […We must understand that the bible says:]“Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth…” !!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin…
