10-31-18 FaithLine Devotion OUR WORDS, HURTING OR HEALING…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “If you don’t have wood, your fire goes out. If you don’t talk about others, arguing dies down. Coal glows. Wood burns. And a man who argues stirs up fights.(Prov. 26:20-21) Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know THEY PRODUCE QUARRELS. And THE LORD’S SERVANT MUST NOT BE QUARRELSOME BUT MUST BE KIND TO EVERYONE, able to teach, not resentful.(2 Tim. 2:23-24)

Cruel or cutting remarks from strangers can be hurtful, but most of the time, we are hurt by someone we know, and these injuries are deeper and more painful, because a person who should be the source of love suddenly betrays that love — intentionally or otherwise. People say mean things to others for many reasons. More often than not, the person who puts somebody else down won’t remember what they said a year later; however, the recipient of those words may remember them for the rest of their lives.

Let the WORDS OF MY MOUTH and the meditation of my heart BE ACCEPTABLE in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.(Psa. 19:14)

HELP US LORD TO SPEAK ENCOURAGING WORDS

FaithLine, the bible says: THE LORD’S SERVANT MUST BE KIND TO EVERYONE…”
