The purifying grace of God teaches and empowers us to resist ungodly and worldly passions! Instead our desire changes for us so we want to live a self-controlled and godly lifestyle. We become very eager to do what pleases God because He has redeemed us from wickedness and transformed us to pursue a life of holiness..
“Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those WHO HAVE BEEN BROUGHT FROM DEATH TO LIFE; and OFFER EVERY PART OF YOURSELF to Him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master…” (Rom. 6:13-14)
