My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: God’s enemies are threatening, and the psalmist’s (Asaph) prayer is that the Lord himself will speak and answer them. God’s voice made the heavens and the earth: “God spoke, and it was done; God commanded, and it stood fast.” A single word from God will win the day. Asaph’s prayer is not, “Grant a leader bold and brave,” but, “Lord, speak, speak! O GOD, DO NOT REMAIN SILENT…Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD— that you alone are THE MOST HIGH OVER ALL THE EARTH.” (Psa. 83:1, 18)
Jeremiah says, “This is what the LORD says, He who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it…CALL TO ME AND I WILL ANSWER YOU and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer. 33:2-3)
This is spoken by the God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2), So, how did we get away from hearing the voice of the Lord? It is a known fact that we cannot have an intimate relationship without communication. The devil knows this as well and he has come “…to steal and kill and destroy…” (John 10:10) If the devil can steal our ability to listen to the voice of God, this eventually will kill our intimacy with God!!!
PRAY; OPEN MY EARS LORD SO I CAN CLEARLY HEAR YOU…
FaithLine, the bible says: “…CALL TO ME AND I WILL ANSWER YOU and tell you great and unsearchable things…”
