“…JESUS LIVES FOREVER, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because JESUS ALWAYS LIVES TO INTERCEDE FOR THEM.” (Heb. 7:24-25)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. Without the resurrection we don’t have a Savior to worship, without the resurrection Jesus is no better than Buddha or Muhammad or any other religious leader. CHRISTIANITY IS THE ONLY WORLD RELIGION WHOSE FOUNDER HAS RAISED PHYSICALLY, BODILY FROM THE DEAD. And that is exactly right, that is what makes Christianity different. The inspiration and motivation of the early believers. Is that they really believed and knew that Jesus was alive. That is the thing that made them so bold and so courageous in the face of torture, in the face of crucifixion, and in the face of losing everything they had. They continued to stand up and proclaim the good news because they really knew that JESUS IS ALIVE.
