10-10-18 FaithLine Devotion GODLY ADVICE; HOW TO TREAT ONE ANOTHER…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “Wives, follow the lead of your husbands. That’s what the Lord wants you to do. Husbands, LOVE YOUR WIVES. Don’t be mean to them. Children, OBEY YOUR PARENTS IN EVERYTHING. THAT PLEASES THE LORD. Fathers, don’t make your children bitter. If you do, they will lose hope. (Col. 3:18-21)

One of the greatest blessings we can receive in this life is the love of a family, and the bonds that exist between its members are sacred. It’s no accident that the Bible is filled with passages that explain our relationship to God by comparing it to our relationship with our father. Our earthly families are intended TO REFLECT GOD’S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loves His church, and wives are called to devote themselves to their husbands as the church devotes itself to Christ. Children are directed by God to be obedient to their parents in the Lord, for this is right.

In this day that we live in, there are many families that may not have both mom and dad. So, how will God help in these situations? Teach me, LORD, the way of your ordinances... (Psa. 119:33) Guard my life, for I am faithful to youLord, for I call to you all day longTeach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. (Psa. 86:2-3, 11)

WHATEVER OUR NEED, GOD IS FAITHFUL TO PROVIDE

FaithLine, the bible says: Teach me, LORD, the way of your ordinances…”
