Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else…Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:1-4, 8)
If we respond badly to any situation we are in, we need to ask ourselves, are we pleasing the Holy Spirit? How we respond when we are tried should be like Jesus responded when He was tempted by Satan and suffered a horrible beating, humiliation and being pierced through with nails, all for our sake…How did Jesus respond? “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34)
FILL US WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST SO WE MAY CORRECTLY RESPOND…
