My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “We are Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. GOD MADE HIM WHO HAD NO SIN TO BE SIN FOR US, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corin. 5:20-21)
That is a very awesome thing, Jesus traded His righteousness for our sin (just for a short time) and was tortured and died as a sinner! All that for us, oh, how He really loves us. We need to be refreshed in our minds about this great love that the Creator of all things has for us. When things are not going as smoothly as we think, remember the Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb.12:2) The Greek word translated “author” can also mean “captain,” “chief leader” or “prince.” This indicates that Jesus controls our faith, steers it as a captain steers a ship, and presides over it and cares for it as a king presides over and cares for his people. It is important for us to understand that Jesus Christ is not only the creator and sustainer of our saving faith, but He is also the supporter of our DAILY WALK and the finisher of our SPIRITUAL JOURNEY.
“I thank my God…being confident of this, THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETION until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 1:3-6)
CONTINUE TO ORDER OUR STEPS DEAR LORD…
FaithLine, the bible says: “HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETION…”
