“…flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GodI tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For THE TRUMPET WILL SOUND, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed“Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your stingthanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, STAND 1FIRM. LET NOTHING MOVE YOU. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that YOUR LABOR IN THE LORD IS NOT IN VAIN.(1 Corin. 15:50-58) 1hedraios: constant, immovable, steady.

Paul warns us about being conformed to the ways of this world (Romans 12:2). But, many times our beliefs and morals are tested to a point beyond anything we have known. It is so easy to get caught up in a pursuit for more money, freedom, and material possessions. What does nonconformity mean in today’s world? It means standing firm in our faith, no matter what the cost.

Why? Why are we warned about standing firm, bring immovable, not allowing anything to move us? We are cautioned about the divine mystery that WILL take place, proceeded by a trumpet blast and then a glorious, heavenly and eternal change in our bodies!!!

LET’S NOT ALLOW ANYTHING TO MOVE US
