My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves…For everything that was written in the past WAS WRITTEN TO TEACH US, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, IN ORDER TO BRING PRAISE TO GOD.” (Rom 15:1, 4-7)
Why do we want to put up and help with the faults of the weak? Because THIS BRINGS PRAISE TO GOD and just as Jesus Christ accepted and forgave our sins and faults, He expects us to accept one another with the same attitude of love and kindness.
“We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but ALWAYS SEEK AFTER THAT WHICH IS GOOD FOR ONE ANOTHER and for all people.” (1 Thes 5:14-15)
Remember this about our loving one another, “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, HE IS A LIAR; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:20)
BELOVED, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER FOR LOVE IS OF GOD…
