My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to OFFER YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY AND PLEASING TO GOD—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: DO NOT THINK OF YOURSELF MORE HIGHLY THAN YOU OUGHT, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.” (Rom 12:1-3)
We were created to bring glory to God, our bodies are not our own, “…do you not know that YOUR BODY is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. SO GLORIFY GOD IN YOUR BODY.” (1 Corin. 6:19-20)
So, how do we glorify God with our bodies?
“Let us cleanse ourselves from all moral impurity of flesh and spirit, PERFECTING HOLINESS in the fear of God.” (2 Corin. 7:1)
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS WHAT WE SHOULD STRIVE FOR…
