07-07-18 Loved One’s Devotion CRY OUT, GOD WILL RESCUE YOU…

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I SHALL RESCUE YOU, and you will honor Me.” (Psa. 50:15)

Crying out to God is an act of desperation and total concentration. It is an enthusiastic expression of faith in God and trust in His goodness and power to act on our behalf. Crying out to God expresses the following traits:

Genuine humility

It is hard for us to admit it when we cannot solve a problem or overcome an obstacle, but it happens and that is when we need God’s help. He delights in a broken and contrite heart that humbly seeks Him. He does not forget the cry of the distressed.(Psa. 9:12).

Personal helplessness

We may tend to believe that we need God’s help with only the really hard things? Remember, Jesus said, “Without me you can do nothing (John 15:5).

Unconditional surrender

When a situation becomes so desperate that only God can deliver us, a cry represents total, unconditional surrender. We can’t bargain with God—we must leave our life in His hands. “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me (Psa. 66:18).

CALL OUT TO GOD, THEN LISTEN

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I SHALL RESCUE YOU !!!That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
