My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. God did this so that [we] would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though HE IS NOT FAR FROM ANY ONE OF US. For IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING…We are his offspring. Therefore, since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone–an image made by human design and skill. IN THE PAST GOD OVERLOOKED SUCH IGNORANCE, but now HE COMMANDS ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO REPENT.” (Acts 17:24, 27-30)
This is a commandment of God, that ALL PEOPLE–EVERYWHERE–WOULD REPENT… Why does He give us this commandment? Because we are His offspring and God’s desire is for us to seek Him, reach out for Him and find Him for it is in Him that we live and move and have our being! It is all about God! In the past God was gracious enough to overlook our ignorance, because you see it is truly ignorant to disobey and not recognize God’s supremacy! Why?
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE.” (Heb. 12:28-29) God says, “I live in a high and holy place. But I also live with anyone who turns away from his sins. I live with anyone who is not proud. I GIVE NEW LIFE TO ANYONE WHO TURNS AWAY FROM HIS SINS.” (Isaiah 57:15)
REPENT AND BE CONVERTED SO THAT YOUR SINS WILL BE BLOTTED OUT…
