David knew personally that the instruction and teachings of the Lord held great treasures. Much of the 119th Psalm acknowledged these wonders that were so precious to David, he declared, “I have HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART that I might not sin against you.” (Psa. 119:11)
I was inspired to start ministering by these devotions about 11 years ago because the Lord showed me that the Word of God is indeed wonderful, deep, instructing, powerful, life changing, needed every day and unfortunately THE DEVIL SEES TO IT THAT WE IGNORE IT. Listen to what is said about The Word:
“EVERY WORD OF GOD IS FLAWLESS…” (Pro. 30:5) “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and OBEY IT.” (Luke 11:28) “Take the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” (Eph. 6:17) “For the WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND POWERFUL and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a 1discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12) 1kritikos: able to judge. “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True [Jesus]. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is THE WORD OF GOD.” (Rev. 19:11-13)
LET US LIVE THE WORD BECAUSE WE LOVE THE WORD…
