It was the desire of Jesus to equip the Body of Christ for the building up of itself, so it would measure up to His fullness…
“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, WE WILL GROW TO BECOME IN EVERY RESPECT THE MATURE BODY OF HIM WHO IS THE HEAD, THAT IS, CHRIST.” (Eph. 4:14-15)
There are so very many well disguised false teachings out there, that’s why we must be rooted and grounded in the Word and then speak the truth in love…
“…the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the BUILDING UP OF ITSELF IN LOVE.” (Eph. 4:16)
Whether it is the eye or the little toe, every member of the body has its function and plays an important part in the proper working of the Body of Christ…
