04-02-18 FaithLine Devotion WHO IS THE MOST IMPORTANT…

My dear brothers and sisters, dedicating your lives to singing for Jesus:   “Jesus, took a little child and had the child stand beside him. Then he spoke to His disciples.“Anyone who welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me,” he said. “And anyone who welcomes me welcomes the One who sent me. The least important person among all of you IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.” (Luke 9:47-48)

Jesus made this statement to settle an argument that was taking place:

“The disciples began to argue about which one of them would be the most important person.” (Luke 9:46)

Jesus Christ our Lord, God the Son, King of Kings, creator and redeemer, was born in a manger. His life began in a very lowly manner even though the announcement of His birth, made to lowly shepherds, was most awesome: “Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” (Luke 2:13-14)

We honor the Lord by choosing to live a life of humility lifting our savior and Lord, by living holy for Him.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. (Matt. 5:3-5)

LET US HUMBLE OURSELVES UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD

FaithLine, the bible says: “…the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.”
