My dear brothers and sisters, dedicating your lives to singing for Jesus: “…The father said to his servant, “Carry him to his mother.” …the child sat on her lap till noon, and THEN HE DIED.” (2 Kings 4:19-20)
Elisha was staying in the home of an older couple who were childless, Elisha prophesied over them that they would have a child. So, she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her, but now just a few years later, the child died. The woman asked her husband to send them to see Elisha, then she said by faith: “IT IS WELL.” (2 Kings 4:23)
She knew if she could see the man of God everything would be ok…Indeed, Elisha healed the child!!!
“Now there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, that is, Dorcas: this woman was given to good works…she got ill and came to her death… But Peter… went down on his knees in prayer; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, get up. And, opening her eyes, SHE SAW PETER AND GOT UP.” (Acts 9:36-40)
This morning as I was led to these two examples, it made me realize just how loving and awesomeour God is. Our troubles may seem impossible for us to deal with but remember…
NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR THE LORD!
FaithLine, the bible says: “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
