My awesome, wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I WILL FOLLOW YOUR RIGHTEOUS LAWS.” (Psa. 119:105-106)
One of God’s requirements for us is that we pray. The Word of God inspires prayer. The Word commands us to pray, and makes promises to us of what God will do if we pray, and tells us stories of great men and women of prayer.
“…the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person is POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE.” (James 5:16)
Another requirement from God is that we spread the Word of God…
“…how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)
One of our most important requirements is that we love one another, this is the second commandment.
“I give you a new command. Love one another. You MUST LOVE one another, just as I have loved you. If you love one another, EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES.” (John 13:34-35)
LOVE ONE ANOTHER DEEPLY, FROM THE HEART.
