My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “One of the scribes went to Jesus…he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of them all?” Jesus answered, “The most important is…the Lord our God is THE ONLY LORD. So,LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD with ALL YOUR HEART…SOUL…MIND…and STRENGTH.” (Mark 12:28-30)
Why is this so important? Because, if we love God with our all; we will desire to be obedient to Him, to serve Him and worship Him…
“The second most important commandment is this: ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.’ No other commandment is greater than these.“ (Mark 12:31)
The devil loves to tempt us to say hateful and hurtful things about our “neighbor” but you see, if we yield to this temptation, we break this 2nd commandment and sin against our neighbor and AGAINST GOD…
“The scribe said to Jesus…To love Him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself is MORE IMPORTANT than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.” (Mark 12:32-33)
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN DO IS LOVE GOD AND LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR…
