My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, YOU ARE SLAVES OF THE ONE YOU OBEY–whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?” (Rom. 6:16)
When we come into this world we are born into sin, we inherit Adam’s nature.
“But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. YOU HAVE BEEN SET FREE FROM SIN AND HAVE BECOME SLAVES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS.” (Rom. 6:17-18)
Thankfully God has provided salvation for the forgiveness of our sins and then makes the way for us to become sanctified.
“…now that you have been SET FREE FROM SIN and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.” (Rom. 6:22)
Thru the process of sanctification, we are set free from sin and may pursue a life of holiness…
BE SET FREE FROM SIN AND BECOME A SERVANT OF GOD…
