This is what the devil’s news media has as their headline! “We have battled hard against prayer and we have won! There is now less interest in the power of prayer then there has ever been.”
The devil: “…comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so they can have life. I want them to have it in the FULLEST POSSIBLE WAY.” (John 10:10)
The devil has been successful in stealing our confidence in prayer, killing our faith about prayer’s being answered and destroying our ability to communicate with our Heavenly Father. How do I know this? Sunday, I sent out a blog about with the title “WHAT SHOULD GOD’S PEOPLE DO…” along with an image of a man praying, it was about the necessity of our prayers. This received the least amount of views of any devotion I have written in the past six years!
“The fool says in his heart, “THERE IS NO GOD.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds…” (Psa. 14:1)
Our lack of an INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD will lead to the “there is no God” syndrome, that’s why God says: “Call to Me and I WILL ANSWER YOU, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jer. 33:3)
“If my people…will humble themselves AND PRAY and seek my face…then I WILL HEAR from heaven…” (2 Chron. 7:14)
“…WHEN YOU PRAY, go into your room and shut the door…your Father…WILL REWARD YOU.” (Matt. 6:6)
The Lord reminds us: “…you will call, and THE LORD WILL ANSWER; you will cry for help, and he will say: HERE AM I…” (Isa. 58:9)
