My dear brothers and sisters, dedicating your lives to singing for Jesus: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that IF WE ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE HEARS US. If we know that God hears what we ask for, we know that we have it.” (1 John 5:14-15)
When our desires line up with His will, that’s what is important. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God’s will, God will respond powerfully!
“Very truly I tell you, WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME WILL DO the works I have been doing, and they will do EVEN GREATER things than these…” (John 14:12)
What is the will of God here? WE MUST BELIEVE IN JESUS, then we will do the works He did, and even greater things!!! So, we must believe that Jesus can EMPOWER US to do these miraculous things…
“Lord, if it’s you, tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, WALKED ON THE WATER…BUT when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me! Jesus…caught him. “You of little faith,” he said,“WHY DID YOU DOUBT?” (Matt. 14:28-31)
When we are distracted by the devil, we begin DOUBTING AND TAKING OUR EYES OFF JESUS, we WILL NOT DO the works He did. Peter, after a time of PRAYER AND FASTING, BELIEVED JESUS:
“…they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as PETER CAME BY AT LEAST HIS SHADOW might fall on some of them…and THEY WERE ALL HEALED.” (Acts 5:15-16)
WE WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE…
FaithLine, the bible says: “ WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME WILL DO the works I have been doing, and they will do EVEN GREATER things than these…”
