My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: A troubled heart can be found in anyone, even the Christian. There are many reasons for one’s heart to be troubled — death of a loved one, unfaithfulness of a friend, a feeling of insecurity, a lack of understanding, personal problems. What is the Christian to do when his heart becomes troubled? He must look to Jesus and the comfort only He can give.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; BELIEVE ALSO IN ME.” (John 14:1)
Jesus recognized how troubled His apostles would be by His death so in this passage He assured them and us that come back and get them.
“…if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME BACK AND TAKE YOU TO BE WITH ME that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:3)
Oh Lord, help us to make sure we are going the right way…
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME.” (John 14:6)
But Lord, we are so comforted by your presence…
“I will ask the Father, and he will give you ANOTHER COMFORTER to help you and BE WITH YOU FOREVER— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and WILL BE IN YOU.” (John 14:16-18)
WE MUST CONSTANTLY REMIND OURSELVES THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN US!
Notice: […We must understand that the bible says:] “…I WILL COME BACK AND TAKE YOU TO BE WITH ME .” !!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
