Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12)
The word reveals to us THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING CONNECTED TO GOD! The word “judge” does not mean “condemn.” It means “assess.” When we show somebody a painting and say, “What’s your judgment?” we don’t mean, “What’s your condemnation?” We mean, “What’s your assessment of the quality? Is it good or bad?” So the Word of God penetrates to the deepest place in our lives and assesses what’s there. IS IT GOOD OR BAD? So, the word of God reveals to us where we are in our spiritual journey to eliminate confusion!
“…the god of this world [the devil] has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corin. 4:4)
The devil blinds the minds of unbelievers and tries to confuse the minds of Christians!!!
“…God IS NOT A GOD OF CONFUSION but of peace…” (1 Corin. 14:33)
