The bible declares that when we are living a Christian life and our daily needs are being met, we will experience great contentment!
“Those who want to get rich FALL INTO TEMPTATION and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires THAT PLUNGE PEOPLE INTO RUIN AND DESTRUCTION. For the LOVE OF MONEY is A 1ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with MANY GRIEFS.” (1 Tim. 6:9-10) 1rhiza: cause, origin, source.
The “I MUST HAVE MORE” syndrome is alive and well today. There are so many items being created and available to bring us an amazing means of pleasure which often keep us from our “GOD PURPOSE”…
“WATCH AND PRAY so that you will not FALL INTO TEMPTATION. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matt. 26:41) “Consider it ALL JOY, my brethren, when you FALL INTO VARIOUS TEMPTATIONS, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.” (James 1:2-3)
Jesus encourages us not to fall into temptation, James teaches us that if we do, to consider it ALL JOY because the ability to endure temptation will be produced in us.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; HE WILL NOT LET YOU BE TEMPTED BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN BEAR. But when you are tempted, he will also PROVIDE A WAY OUT so that you can endure it.” (1 Corin. 10:13)
The devil tempts us to steal away our confidence in God, kill our faith and destroy our relationship with God. Our heavenly Father provides US with an awesome godly contentment which gives us access to great gain…
