“Children, obey your parents in everything. THAT PLEASES THE LORD. Fathers, don’t make your children bitter. If you do, they will lose hope.
It is up to us to see to it that our children do not lose hope so we must be dedicated to training them up in the way they should go…
Slaves [students], obey your earthly masters [teachers] in everything. Don’t do it just to please them when they are watching you. Obey them with an honest heart. Do it out of RESPECT FOR THE LORD.
Think about it, when we do our best on our jobs or in school we are demonstrating respect for the Lord Jesus Christ…
Work at everything you do WITH ALL YOUR HEART. Work as if you were WORKING FOR THE LORD, not for human masters. Work because you know that you will FINALLY RECEIVE AS A REWARD what the Lord wants you to have. YOU ARE SERVING THE LORD CHRIST.
Our service to the Lord involves doing what we do WITH ALL OUR HEARTS. IF or HOW they respond is of no consequence, the Lord promises to respond with a wonderful reward for us.
Anyone who does wrong WILL BE PAID BACK for what he does. God treats everyone the same.” (Col. 3:20-25)
WE MUST BE MOTIVATED TO ALWAYS DO WHAT IS RIGHT! FOR THIS WILL PLEASE THE LORD!!!
