Paul considered everything to be nothing compared to knowing Christ Jesus our Lord. That the supreme advantage of knowing Christ and increasingly becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, is more valuable than anything else one could ever possess!
For his sake, I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may GAIN CHRIST AND BE FOUND IN HIM…
Everything else is rubbish (garbage) compared to an intimate relationship with Jesus!
not having a righteousness of my own, but that which comes THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST, the righteousness FROM GOD that depends on faith…
Our righteousness comes from God Himself, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN US by faith…
that I may know him and the POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.” (Phil. 3:7-11)
Not only are we filled with the righteousness of God but we also intimately know the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and it’s all in us!!!
