Many are falsely claiming they know when the Lord will return, Jesus said HE WILL RETURN but only the FATHER knows when:
“Watch out that NO ONE DECEIVES YOU. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and WILL DECEIVE MANY. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but THE END IS STILL TO COME.” (Matt. 24:4-6)
Many will become impatient, stop reading their bibles, stop praying and stop believing.
We must remember this… “THE LORD IS NOT SLOW in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, NOT WANTING ANYONE TO PERISH, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord WILL COME like a thief. The heavens WILL DISAPPEAR with a roar; the elements WILL BE DESTROYED by fire, and the earth and everything done in it WILL BE LAID BARE.” (2 Pet. 3:9-10) Of course, we as believers will be gone up to be with the Lord…
“Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, BE ON YOUR GUARD…” (2 Pet. 3:17)
SO THAT WE MAY TAKE HOLD OF THAT WHICH IS TRULY LIFE!
