[We would certainly be blessed IF WE WALKED WHERE THE LORD DIRECTED US TO WALK. You know how we our parents; are very concerned about where we, their children go and what we do, because they want them us be safe and secure. That is how our Abba Father is; He is a very concerned parent toward His children. The Lord has and will make His way “clear” to us, we just need to learn to LISTEN and OBEY!]
“Do not 1love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, [their] love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF GOD LIVES FOREVER.” (1 John 2:15-17) [1agapaō: this is a love of devotion]
[We are told not to “devote” ourselves to the world. The heart of man is narrow, and cannot contain devotional love for both the Father and the world. The world attractions draw us away from the heart from God; and so, the more the love of the world overcomes the more the love of God dwindles and decays! That is why we must SEEK GOD TO ORDER OUR STEPS!]
WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF GOD LIVES FOREVER!
