We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.” (Neh. 1:5-7)
[In every prayer we should confess, not only of the sins, and short comings we have been guilty of, but of our faith in God and DEPENDENCE UPON HIM, our sorrow for sin and our determination not to continue in it!]
“Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but BECAUSE OF YOUR GREAT MERCY. Lord, listen! LORD, FORGIVE! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay…” (Dan. 9:17-19)
[The Lord answered Nehemiah’s prayer! And He also answered Daniel’s prayer! Because; of their great humility and because, that is what God does, He hears and answers our prayers!]
“…because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.” (Neh. 2:8) “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.” (Dan. 9:22)
[God alone knows and WILL REVEAL what is the future; and the astonishing things which are now coming are known only to Him!]
“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it–the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I WILL ANSWER YOU and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jer. 33:2-3)
[Jesus tells His disciples “you do not yet consider me the great Mediator between God and man…this is one very important truth which will be more fully revealed to you by the Holy Spirit”!]
“…Very truly I tell you, MY FATHER WILL GIVE YOU WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, and YOUR JOY WILL BE COMPLETE.” (John 16:23-24)
[Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh, Jesus has given us so many proofs of His love that we cannot possibly doubt!]
“In that day, you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. No, THE FATHER HIMSELF LOVES you BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOVED ME and have believed that I came from God.” (John 16:26-27)
JESUS SAID: THE WORKS THAT I DO, YOU WILL DO ALSO!
