My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day…“If I 1regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear;” (Psalms 66:18) 1râ‘âh: to see, observe, consider, look at, give attention to
So, if we are giving our attention to living in wickedness, the Lord will NOT GIVE attention to our cries for help! But, can He hear our cries? Yes, because He is not deaf! The Lord will not help us so we can continue in wickedness because:
“…God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, but TO SAVE THE WORLD through him.” (John 3:16-17)
Ok, what must we first do to get the help we need? Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
“2Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of 3refreshing may come from the Lord,” (Acts 3:19) 2metanoeō: involves a turning, with sorrow, from sin to God. 3anapsuxis: reviving with fresh air. Here is the problem, when we are living a wicked life we are DEAD TO GOD: “…I was alive…but…sin sprang to life and I DIED.” (Rom. 7:9).
Therefore, we need to turn away from sin and turn to God so we may be revived with the “breath of fresh air” of the Holy Spirit!
“…the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” (Job 33:4)
What a day it was for me May 17, 1972, at age 29, I stepped into my private restroom, closed the door “someone” put their arms around and said “Bill. I love you!” Those words penetrated me and filled me with godly sorrow because, you see, I was a sinner, I was addicted to drugs and alcohol along with the sinful life style that goes along with that. I dropped to my knees and cried out to God “I AM SORRY!” Immediately I felt this great weight lifted from me that I was not even aware of, and I became “alive” to God. Two days later I attended my first revival and when the prayer call was given I hurried to the altar because I knew there was so much more for me. The Lord spoke to me, “Bill, go home and dump your drugs and alcohol down the toilet!” I obeyed and the Lord sanctified me. Instantly, I was delivered form all my addictions and notice that everything around me was so beautiful, I was alive!!!
“He saved us. It wasn’t because of the good things we had done. It was because of his mercy. He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us NEW LIFE.” (Titus 3:5)
Notice: […We must understand that the bible says: “He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us NEW LIFE.”!!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh
