[God knew his work was not complete, so he enlisted Adam’s help to find someone suitable for him.]
“So the man gave names to all [of God’s created beings] BUT FOR ADAM NO SUITABLE HELPER WAS FOUND. So, the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and HE BROUGHT HER TO THE MAN.” (Gen. 2:20-22)

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that YOU ARE MINDFUL of them, human beings that YOU CARE FOR THEM? You have made them a little lower than the angels AND CROWNED THEM [us] WITH GLORY AND HONOR. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; YOU PUT EVERYTHING UNDER THEIR [our] FEET:” (Psa. 8:3-6)
