“Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who FEAR, REVERE, AND WORSHIP YOU, goodness which You have worked for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!” (Psalms 31:19)
It cannot be emphasized enough, we must have the fear of the Lord and a trust for God as main focuses in our lives, so God may reveal to us what the future has in store for us and what our part will be!
“…just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” (1 Corin. 2:9-10)
Notice the words ‘deep things‘ can also mean ‘depth, mysteries, profound, intense, far-reaching, great knowledge‘. Let’s look at an end-time prophecy in the Old Testament.
“For the earth, will be filled with the 1knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.” (Hab. 2:14)
1yâda‛: To have an intimate relationship with another person, an idea or an experience. So, we see, it’s not enough to just taste and experience the glory of the Lord (though this is a great and wonderful experience). But in this end-time, GOD ALSO WANTS US TO HAVE THE INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT HE IS CURRENTLY DOING, and what our part is in accomplishing it!
“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7).
Let us make ourselves available to the Lord with a willingness to do our part!
