[Why are we so important to God? He is God, the creator of all things, He can do anything He wants to do!] “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; HOW MUCH MORE VALUABLE YOU ARE THAN THE BIRDS!” (Luke 12:24)
[God says we are a treasure; We’re not trash! WE’RE VALUABLE TO GOD, but there’s more in God’s appraisal of what we’re worth. (Eph. 2:10) says:] “WE ARE GOD’S WORKMANSHIP.” [Now, workmanship isn’t thrown together, it’s no accident, it’s not random. We’re a masterpiece; WE’RE A HANDMADE CREATION OF OUR GOD who only does beautiful work. Then it goes on to say in this verse that we are designed:] “…FOR GOOD WORKS HE PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR US TO DO.” [But there’s more.] (1 Corin. 6:20) says, “YOU WERE BOUGHT AT A PRICE, THEREFORE HONOR GOD WITH YOUR BODY.”
[God says we’re His valuable objects, His workmanship, and the one He paid a lot for. You can tell how much a person values something by how much they’re willing to pay for it. Well, GOD PAID FOR US WITH THE BLOOD OF HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, JESUS, He wanted us so much He sent His Son to pay the death penalty in our place. WE’RE TO BE RESERVED FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES. If we feel like we’re not worth much, then it’s time to pay a visit to the cross where Jesus Christ died for us. That’s how much God thinks we’re worth – THE LIFE OF HIS SON. WE MUST LIVE LIKE THE TREASURE THAT OUR CREATOR SAYS WE ARE.]
“For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father…that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, TO BE STRENGTHENED WITH POWER through His Spirit in the inner man…so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love…and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you MAY BE FILLED UP TO ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.” (Eph. 3:14-17, 19) [God wants to fill us up with all His fullness – for His glory!!!]
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that:
OUR ABBA FATHER PAID FOR US WITH THE BLOOD OF HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, JESUS!
