My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “He who has an ear, LET HIM HEAR what the Spirit says...” (Rev. 3:6) It’s not that we don’t have ears…it’s that we don’t use them to listen to the Spirit of God! Scripture has always placed tremendous value on HEARING GOD’S VOICE. The great command from God through Moses began with the words, “HEAR, O Israel: The LORD our God is one!” (Deut. 6:4) “Now therefore, LISTEN TO ME, my children, For blessed are those WHO KEEP MY WAYS. Hear instruction and be wise, BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO LISTENS TO ME…” (Prov. 8:32-34)
Each of the seven churches in Revelation is addressed in the same manner: “He who has an ear, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS to the churches” (Rev. 2:7; 2:11; 2:17; 2:29; 3:6; 3:13; 3:22). We must remember, “…FAITH COMES BY HEARING, and hearing by the word of God.” (Rom. 10:17)
“Jesus entered a certain village; and Martha welcomed Him into her house. Mary, sat at Jesus’ feet and HEARD HIS WORD. But Martha was distracted with much serving…Jesus said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are troubled about many things [we can’t allow ourselves to become to busy to daily hear the Word of God]…
But ONE THING IS NEEDED [hearing my word], MARY HAS CHOSEN THAT GOOD PART…(Luke 10:38-42)
