11-28-18 FaithLine Devotion DON’T CHANGE, BE YOURSELF…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…the king of Babylon ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring intoservice some of theyoung men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualifiedHe was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians…Among those who were chosen wereDaniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego. (Dan. 1:3-7)

These Hebrew young men, had a new place to live, new food and new names, every effort was being made to change them. But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he askedfor permission Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men…Daniel said, Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink.(Dan. 1:8-12) So, for ten days, nothing but water and vegies as a result they looked more radiant and healthy than all the others.

WHEN WE SEPARATE OUR LIVES TO GOD, HE WILL TAKE CARE OF US. SO, ALWAYS BE WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE

FaithLine, the bible says: “So come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. I will be your Father. You will be my sons and daughters…” (2 Corin. 6:17-18)
