My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. WITH THE TONGUE WE PRAISE OUR LORD AND FATHER, AND WITH IT WE CURSE HUMAN BEINGS, WHO HAVE BEEN MADE IN GOD’S LIKENESS. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, THIS SHOULD NOT BE……” (James 3:8-12)
We may have been tempted to say something that we later regretted, which caused someone to be hurt. Hurtful words can slip out and be very damaging to someone we love, these words can never be taken back, but we must ask for forgiveness…
Does this mean that we cannot control what we speak out of our own mouth? NO! It simply means that we just choose to not keep our own tongue under control…
“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For THE MOUTH SPEAKS WHAT THE HEART IS FULL OF.” (Luke 6:45)
We must make sure that our hearts are full of Jesus…
“LET THE WORDS OF MY MOUTH…BE PLEASING IN YOUR SIGHT, LORD…” (Psa. 19:14)
FaithLine, the bible says: “THE MOUTH SPEAKS WHAT THE HEART IS FULL OF.”
