Respect means “to regard with honor; to have a high opinion of; to place a great value upon; to reverence; to submit to the judgment and authority of the God’s Word.”
Why should we respect God’s Word? Because, “All Scripture is BREATHED OUT BY GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that THE MAN OF GOD MAY BE 1COMPLETE, equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
