10-17-19 FaithLine CALLING, PRAYING, SEEKING AND FINDING…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…you will CALL UPON ME and go and PRAY TO ME, and I WILL LISTEN TO YOU. And YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART.(Jer. 29:12-13) The Lord is not looking for part-time followers, He wants our ALL, as Jesus responded to a scribe who asked Him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, “…the Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall LOVE the Lord your God with ALL your HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH.” This is the first commandment. And the second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is NO OTHER COMMANDMENT GREATER THAN THESE.(Mark 12:28-31) On these two commandments HANG ALL the Law and the Prophets.(Matt. 22:40) The whole Bible, then, “hangs” from these two commands “like a door on its hinges.” This briefest of summaries of the moral law of God provides a CRUCIAL ENTRY POINT INTO SCRIPTURE as a whole and the gospel that forms its core.

This is true because, “…LOVE (agapē) is the FULFILLMENT of the law. (Rom. 13:10) “…if anyone obeys God’s word, then God’s LOVE is truly made complete in that person. Here is how we know we belong to Him. Those who claim to belong to Him MUST LIVE JUST AS JESUS DID.(1 John 2:5-6)

NO ONE HAS GREATER LOVE (agapē) THAN THIS, THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS(John 15:13)

FaithLine, the bible says:  “…you shall LOVE the Lord your God with ALL your HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH.”
