My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “…whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of THE 1SURPASSING WORTH OF KNOWING CHRIST JESUS MY LORD, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage…” (Phil.3:7-10) 1huperechō: to be above, be superior in rank, authority, power.
The Amplified Bible says it like this: “I count everything as loss compared to the PRICELESS PRIVILEGE and SUPREME ADVANTAGE of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord…” (Amp.)
The only way to fully understand this awesome intimacy with Jesus Christ, is to experience for yourself. At age 29, I experienced this priceless privileged when the Lord released godly sorrow in my heart revealing two things to me:
- I was loved by God…
- I was a sinner and my sin was offensive to God…
I fell to my knees and not knowing how to pray, I felt such sorrow in my heart so I said, “I am sorry!” At that moment an extremely heavy load was lifted off of me and I knew I was forgiven!!!
BECOMING A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST IS TREMENDOUSLY AWESOME…
