My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “Here is something to remember. The one who plants only a little WILL GATHER ONLY A LITTLE. And the one who plants a lot will gather a lot. You should each give what you have decided in your heart to give. You shouldn’t give if you don’t want to. You shouldn’t give because you are forced to. GOD LOVES A 1CHEERFUL GIVER. And GOD IS ABLE TO SHOWER ALL KINDS OF BLESSINGS ON YOU. In all things and at all times you will have everything you need. YOU WILL DO MORE AND MORE GOOD WORKS.” (2 Corin. 9:6-8) 1hilaros: describing someone who is joyfully ready to act.
This is not just about giving an offering but about cheerfully giving of ourselves to the work of the Lord. But as Solomon said: “Whatever your hand finds to do, DO IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT…” (Eccl. 9:10)
He began life as a small, sickly child. Plagued by chronic asthma, he often struggled for every breath. The boy had to watch from a window as everyone else his age played outside. The weak asthmatic boy was Theodore Roosevelt. Encouraged by his father, Theodore created an ambitious exercise routine—determined that he could defeat his health problems. Through sheer effort, his chest and arms filled out and he was able to enjoy the outdoors. His fight against asthma gave him the drive to tackle every challenge head-on throughout his life. He served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He spearheaded the beginning of construction on the Panama Canal.
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH… (Phil 4:13)
FaithLine, the bible says: “Whatever your hand finds to do, DO IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT…”
