My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “Even though our outward man is perishing, yet THE INWARD MAN IS BEING RENEWED DAY BY DAY. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment…while we do not look at the things which are seen, but WE LOOK AT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things WHICH ARE NOT SEEN ARE ETERNAL.” (2 Corin. 4:16-18) As a Design Engineer, I often visualized the completed project before I even started on it. Much like a builder might do, seeing their finished work before they begin. Our ability to imagine allows us to see what is not seen.
The Lord looked on as the people who were told by the Lord, to go throughout the earth, were about to build the tower of Babel. “The Lord said, Behold! The people is one…NOTHING WHICH THEY HAVE IMAGINED TO DO WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM.” (Gen. 11:6) The Lord created us with the powerful ability to “imagine” the things which are not seen. So we may visualize the wonders that await us as we go to eternally be with the Lord. God’s goodness is promised for those who WAIT PATIENTLY FOR HIM! No matter how long. Regardless of how hopeless things appear to us. Even when it seems to cost us everything. “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…” (Eph. 3:20)
WHEN WE WAIT FOR HIM, WE WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED.
